Monopoly of the virtue ownership: Mcnamara generation needed to bow out for the US to stop the idea that it could go somewhere and beat people into submission.

The Japanese and the Germans had no alternative but to accept the imposition of the rules dictated by the US. For the others they see alternatives.

It is not the alternative to suit the US, but it is what they see as an alternative that suit them. But the US government persuades its people that they have the monopoly of the virtue and this virtue should be spread like those Portuguese Jesuits of 500 years ago.

It doesn't work. You always have some Dutch who flips the deal and say: we just want to make buiness and not persuade yoyu to follow anything. Our business is make business. That's why the Dutch took Portugal's possessions.

Those -more pragmatic people, take over from the ones spreading the "good" around the world. That's why Europe is there rich. Mainly because they are pragmatic: Keeping transforming themselves into any fashion of the day just to make business.

The US has to become pragmatic. It pragamatism or be Portugalized. Shrink to a shadow what it was before. To apoint that epople of future generations don't even know it was once great.
