Isn't Intel expected to go to an on-die memory controller and CSI within a year of AMD moving to DDR3 in mid-2008? Some rumors are placing OMC and CSI in mid-2008 for Intel, just like DDR3 for AMD.

And here I'd thought Kentsfield and Clovertown had shown the danger of overly buying into the "fsb is bad" mantra.
