You are an optimist! But that may never happen. Look at the fools who still think about the Vietnam war - (a) that we could have won it if we had persisted and (the more extreme case) (b) that we actually won it! jla is more likely to belong to one of these two categories.

Bush's statement is true. It is difficult for Bush hating morons like you to understand the nexus between the GWOT and the action in Iraq, although they are clearly connected. That's not surprising though given your obviously limited intellect. While Iraq may not have participated directly toward the events of 9/11 Iraq represents a part of the problem which needed to be addressed.
