With no mandate for a liberal agenda, the next Congress will have a hard time reconciling their desires with reality. I predict that they will attempt to lurch left, and lose all of the new moderates in the process. It is one thing to have a majority of Democrats and quite a different one to have a majority of Congress. The next Congress will earn the label "Do Nothing Congress" in a manor that will be obvious despite their liberal media allies attempts to obfuscate their inaction.
