I don't see anywhere in your post where they got the intelligence that they sent to the UN via powell. Also no where in there is any mention of Chalibi, another source for there info. They got most of there info from exiled Iraqies, that should tell you something right there. ie... if they are exiled, HTF would they know anything?

As I have mentioned before, sometimes you have to cut through the chase and look at the big picture. I am not empathetic with bush for getting all of this faulty intelligence. The buck stops with his administration. If that is what he had to rely on then he should not have relied on it. He had a lot of qualified people (including the wmd inspectors) trying to tell him he wont find what he is looking for. I kind of remember people like that losing there jobs.

I feel confident that if they do vigorously investigate this mess next year, that we will see a clear manipulation and cherry picking of intellegence.

My last thought on this is that when people are wrong on this massive of a scale, they tend to act in specific ways. I have never seen anything out of the bunch of them that would suggest to me they feel in any way or form that they were duped.

BTW, if you care to, look up powells presentation to the UN on youtube if it is there. He was showing them wmd that no country could pack up and move across a border.

This is the kind of information that Bush had to rely upon in making his decision to overthrow Saddam.>>

Just one quick late night thought on this last comment, and only because you seem to be someone who is patriotic and concerned with the real truth...

I personally believe that this 30 second video is what the is the administrations real view of Saddam's wmd's and his capabilities based off of real intelligence. Let me know what you think
