That looks more like a nasty down trend.

A Good Dead Cat "should" be in an Up Trend .. then in 1 or 2 days loose 30% PLUS.

SCT Qualified and might be worth a another look. That original 75% haircut it got was a good play for you. It was over done even in a Down trend.

The theory behind is simple .. just a reversion to the mean.

Talk about getting Hacked.

Makes me wonder what happened to this one. They must have nothing else in the pipeline.

AstraZeneca (nyse: AZN - news - people ) and Renovis (nasdaq: RNVS - news - people ) suffered big stock declines last week after the companies announced disappointing results for an experimental stroke drug. The developmental partners said new data for NXY-059 failed to meet both the primary and secondary goals of a late-stage trial involving more than 3,000 stroke victims. AstraZeneca, which said it will halt development of the drug, saw its stock close to a weekly loss of 10%. Shares of Renovis, a tiny biotech based in South San Francisco, fared much worse with a huge decline of 76%. Cowen & Company downgraded Renovis shares to "neutral" from "outperform" on Oct. 26. "With the rest of Renovis’s pipeline very immature, following today's sell-off we expect the stock to trade in-line with the market for the next 12 to 24 months," the firm said.
