Well there are a number of reasons to be cautious. Even aside from the 90 year Cycle. Went through VIX tables only yesterday trying to determine the best SPX puts to buy. Then decided to just position a Short in the ES Contracts. I guess I'm too cheap to pay the Premium, even with the VIX as low as it is.

Anyway there has to be a ton of Sell Stops waiting in the 1370s and 1350s. Another move into that area could start an avalanche.

EDIT

Gee, the SPX Put I was deciding on is up 30% since yesterday. I wonder what the VIX reading is on it now.....
