Those "bastards" adher to the same fanatical religious ideology as the Jihadists in Iraq. Except that Afghanistan is a economic black hole, while Iraq contains more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia. >> lol, cut the crap. If you honestly can't understand any difference between a jihadist in Iraq from a Jihadist in afghanistan, thats a personal issue. I realize you are not the only person who would say something like that. TG that crowd is getting smaller, and there is a good reason it is getting smaller. Who cares what shape the afghan economy is in. The poor economy and the break down in there culture made them ripe for a culture change like no other islamic country. As far as the oil in Iraq goes, I doubt will retain much control over those resources for much longer. That control fuels these insurgencies and it would take an enormous amount of military force to hold onto them for a long time. Lets face it, only 61 million people voted in favor of the war in 04 and out of those 61 million we can only muster enough troops to put 150 to 200K troops in the theater. Holding onto and controling those resources is a halucination.
