Romney is screwed. He cannot talk about illegal immigration now and that was one of his top issues. Nobody likes a hypocrite. And Romney knew damn well his gardening crew were probably illegals. Like most hypocrites, he wants strict rules for everyone but himself. Same as Reverend Haggard.

This has nothing to do with Kerry.

Romney's hypocrisy is a major issue. It's criminal. And Romney is the one hollering about how evil illegal immigrants are.

The Kerry botched joke flap is a non-issue. It's strictly nothing. Every politician gaffes. Every person on the planet gaffes. Bush is the worst gaffing president we have ever had. He actually once said that he is trying to destroy our country just like the terrorists are. Imagine. So according to the hypocritical rightwing, that should mean Bush is guilty of treason and should be executed.

I think it does. Romney has made a point of saying we shouldn't allow illegal workers in the country and then he has them working all over his yard.

Either he's being VERY hypocritical or just oblivious.

I think he's putting political aspirations ahead of integrity when he suddenly tries to put on this "cloak of conservatism"
so he can try to "out redneck" Guiliani and McCain.

Romney Was Pro-Gay Before Being Anti-Gay, and hired Illegals Before Being Anti Illegals huffingtonpost.com

Unlike Kerry, who's supposed "flipflop" on the 87 billion funding package was actually the right thing to do, as has been proven by the fact that there is no accountability for the money spent in Iraq, nor any plan for how to pay for it, Romney seems to be guilty of hypocrisy on his top two issues, which let's face it, is just obvious pandering to the religious right whom he suspects will distrust him because he's a Mormon. And a Yankee elitist.
