Because the US will likely lose an all out war with Iran unless they use nukes.

And I remind you that you yourself have said that the use of a single nuke anywhere could trigger the beginning of the end of civilization.

Bush might be crazy enough to try this but the US ruling class will NEVER let its basic interests and survival be threatened by an out of control moronic madman.
