IMHO Hillary is not going to run. Obama is not going to run. Gore might. But he has personal obstacles to get over. You really have to want to be president. It's a huge decision.

If Obama is smart he'll see eight years from now would be much better. Hillary should know she'd lose. Gore should know he should only do it if he has real fire in his belly. Which I don't think he has. I spooke to him 10 months ago and I didn't see it. But maybe he's changed.

Kerry is not tainted. He's driven and more determined than ever. It's just a phony GOP-driven perception. The botched joke thing was a silly White House BS dump. They said he was finished before the Iowa causes too in 2004. He was 25% behind dean then came back and won by a landslide. Respect Kerry. He's a fighter.

Plus, Gore lost to Bush too and was cheated in a much more obvious way. McCain was also successfuly smeared by Bush. So why not blame them?

Kerry has the fire in his belly, the money and he's running. He was also cheated out of the election last time. Plus he has a book coming out next year. Obama and Gore have both benefitted from book and film PR campaigns. It matters. Not only that but he's one of the few who are really qualified.

That said, if Gore runs I think he'd beat Kerry. I have no idea about the other Dem candidates.
