OT sort of,

Below is a clip from an online article that might raise hopes on what a Canadian company can do even far from the borders of Canada...

This month:

...Suddenly there is a clearing and the new president of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete, jumps out of our convoy's lead car and briskly walks up to a white man in a white helmet and grabs his hand. Soon we are all ensconced in helmets and goggles and led past rows of large windowless containers to view a space-age machine that drives a pipe deep into the ground. A burly Canadian tells me he works 28 days - 12 hours a day, seven days a week - and then gets a free ticket home for 28 days off.

We have arrived at the saving grace of Tanzania's mounting energy crisis. Tanzania has depended on plenty of rain, full lakes and cheap hydroelectric power, but the recent drought depleted the lakes and knocked nearly two percentage points off Tanzania's once rapid rate of growth. God works in mysterious ways, however. Underneath these coastal sands a Canadian company, Artumas, last year discovered gas - enough to provide electricity to the city of Mtwara for 800 years - and more is likely to be found.

What would you have us to talk about? The Expo? Do you really think that weak news gets us past this?

SLJB Reiterates Release Date of Audited Financials as November 15, 2006
Sulja Bros. Building Supplies Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: SLJB) CEO Petar Vucicevich reiterated today that the anticipated release date of the audited financial report for SLJB was in fact correct, and that the company and its management are still confident in the 11-15-2006 deadline to publish the report on their website, www.suljabros.com.

Vucicevich then again thanked all those interested for their patience during the period in which the report has undergone great internal scrutiny for complete accuracy. "This will clearly define the assets of Sulja Brothers for the fiscal '06 year-end and set the standard of how our efforts will be measured in the future by our shareholders, our partners in business development, and everyone else who has peered into the 'magnifying glass' that this report has seemingly generated," stated Vucicevich.

And, have you ever noticed this?

This contains forward-looking information within the meaning of The Private Securities Litigation Act of 1995. Forward-looking statements may be identified through the use of words such as "expects," "will," "anticipates," "estimates," "believes," or statements indicating certain actions: "may," "could," "should" or "might occur." Such forward-looking statements involve certain risks and uncertainties. The actual result may differ materially from such forward-looking statements. The company does not undertake to publicly update or revise its forward-looking statements even if experience or future changes make it clear that any projected results (expressed or implied) will not be realized.

Now, all the PR's have something to that effect on the bottom of the page. We all know that it's there, but we do not expect the company to be deliverately lying to us under the protection of the forward-looking disclaimer. You and I both see that in the top of the PR, they clearly restate that we are going to get the AF's on the 15th. It did not happen, and from all appearances it seems they have intentionally "crossed the line" between the bottom of the PR, and the top.....and that's not something anyone should take lightly.

We have been more than patient in this matter, and any PR that does not address the AF's is just another big fat slap in the face.
