Profits for Exxon [and other oil merchants] being high is excellent for their shareholders and other "stake-holders". Shareholders like to get lots of money. I'm sure you know that.

Which isn't to say that everyone is happy. The nature of good things is that they are often not good for somebody else. Every silver lining has a cloud.

I was explaining how there are many ways to view the WAT, in particular in Iraq, as being a success.

Place has deteriorated. We have Hawkmoon with his mental farts, now we have MQ saying It was a success.
