You or him have not proven any of your non-technical speculation and for any of it be classed as worthy of an argument to call AMD liars based on it is such a stretch that I just can't see and would not hold up in any court ! As such I feel my original statement was not insulting based on the imaginative speculation that it was responding to. However I will give reasons next time as I thought they were pretty self-evident. Intel are quite happily producing monster 500 sq mm Montecito dies with no problem which just shows what hot air it all was. Speculation about when dies were produced, what clocks they run at and what yields they get is not substantial enough for either of you to call AMD liars on their public statements which also make perfect technical sense as well.

Please no insults without rather good explicit arguments. Rink, Could you clarify? Is this now the new rule for this board? If so, would you update the board rules section accordingly. FWIW, I think change would be a very bad idea. On a related matter, AMD, AMD execs, INTC, and INTC execs should be fair game for any attacks or insults, as they are not posters. Is that not correct? Finally, I see that mas has been insulting me again on this thread. I also see you repeatedly asking (including "please") for him to stop, to no avail. Why has he not been given a suspension?
