Objectively, you've no basis to declare that rightist Rush is non-informative, but you do. He doesn't pretend to be somewhere in the middle, but he obviously informs. We both can disagree with him I'm sure, and we both can catch him getting a fact wrong here and there, I'm sure. No big deal, IMHO. If it's true that you are shallow enough to be implying that Rush skewed my thinking, you are just being dishonest with yourself and any reader you might have here. Obviously, you haven't a clue what shaped my thinking, but I can assure you Rush didn't, and he certainly has failed to change my mind (which could be a fair, honest, & truly positive evolution of thought if he had.) You've stated one must be "skewed" to the right to see a liberal bias in the news, but when so many involved are in fact liberals as I noted, I'd have to accept the notion that nothing tainted filters through from their admitted leaning, in order to agree with you. You failed to go into that. I'm not that gullible. You can claim the mainstream media is in the center for the sake of ratings, but it doesn't hold up in the face of the facts. Not at all. Just because a network made up of 80% liberal minds vows to get ratings from the vast middle by attempting to be unbiased, is not evidence that they ever succeded. As you've said in your post, "that's my liberal point of view." We can agree one can now easily access conservative voices like never before, if one wishes. Trouble is, in your biased mindset, one has to be "skewed" to become conservative, while in reality a liberal bias permeated the bulk of major media for decades. Conservatism lives because it makes sense to people, and is quite valuable to society. As for me, I'm just a true liberal seeking less government and more freedom and power for the people. Dan B.
