Sure, pal! That's why Bush I ( who had characterized supply-side as "voodoo" economics ) heroically raised taxes to further pay down the Reagan deficits ("read my lips") and Clinton raised them again to deal with the horrible overhang of debt from the Reagan years.

If there's an "optimum point of total taxation" it's at the Clinton levels.

Supply-side is TWICE busted!
