HM "we should permit" How comes a person 16.000Km away is able to permit a people to have whatever type of government?

This is crucial to understand. Quite a few people read this 'permit' in this phrase and become a fan of Chavez.

Imagine next Friday a Moslem preaching for his crowd: They want us to ask for permission to have the type of government we want in place. As a result Ahmadinejah types immediately get 1.000 more supporters.

Who gave me or you or anyone else the right to go around distributing permission?

We wake Monday morning and get together in the UN and will decide what kind of permission we are going to dole out this week.

Why should we not "permit" that government? Well, they have some WMD. Then you invade the place there are no WMD and the impression left is that people ganged up to remove people they don't like.

High ranking Pakistani officials are saying that the Taliban are in de facto control of Afghanistan right now and we should recognize and accept it and go home as soon as possible.

So we should go home despite the fact that the Taliban lent direct aid and assistance to Al Qai'da, a group that declared war upon the US. A group, who's operations resulted in the loss of 3,000 innocent American lives on 9/11?

Is that how America fights its wars now?

Interesting....
