Pandering means saying you're for something you really don't give a damn about just to get support from a group yoiu don't really like or respect. Romney is a specialist at this. Though you're right, all of them have to do some of it from time to time. I really don't think Romney gives a damn about wiping out illegal Mexican immigrants (since he hires them himself) or gays having some kind of a legal way to enjoy some of the fruits of marriage (since his own state legalized it and it hasn't hurt anyone that we know of). But those two things are mostly what he talks about. Why does Mitt talk about these? Because he wants to do well in the South Carolina primary. Duh. South Carolina the center of the confederacy.
