re --too nice--- There are many people who evidently wanted a status quo....Both parties are very close in numbers, at least those who actually vote, so some independents just wanted nothing to happen in the Congress. Maybe that is what is happening.

Only problem is ....the Repubs always get blamed for inaction, then if they do act, they get blamed for action.

It must be easier to be a Dem who stands for not much at all.

Or so it seems.
