Recent economic news may be foretelling a softer landing in 2007 than many are counting on. Bond rally, lower dollar, profit margins at all time highs, etc. also give no encouragement at strong rally any time soon.

One of the things I'm considering is selling short calls on things that have had big rallies and may be getting too pricey; things you wouldn't mind being short at the right price. RIMM? GOOG? Kind of the opposite of selling puts on value stuff.

I was burned once this year on selling short call on RIMM, too early. Thinking about trying it again.

BTW, WMT getting back down to where short 45 puts are starting to look appealing again.
