smh - I found this statement in the last article you cited a bit interesting.

Free analysis is worth what you pay for it (readers of this blog should keep that in mind as well). (ggg)

At the risk of angering the Gods with contrarian thinking....

I find it interesting that we were bludgeoned about the head and shoulders, with much glee; during/after the recent 100 point drops in the HUI. Apparently others, at that time were buying the HUI as it bounced off of the trading range low. I missed the signal to go short the HUI at the top, was it given? [Thank goodness I learned how to protect profits and something about money management such that big account draw downs were avoided.]

But now with technical indicators on the weekly charts looking pretty healthy, almost shouting and waving a buy signal on the next BIG market move. Goodness, we have the history of the seasonality of the POG AND the trend move from last year during this month in out favor too. All of that positive read stacks up against the power, strength and meanness of the "Trillions" towering over us scared, weak Billions.

Sure there is a trading range there, and if one is a true Gold Bug, one buys into the 'conspiracy theory' so the story laid out has some appeal. [All good threads tie back into something known or accepted as to give credibility.]

But let's remember the wisdom pushed on us over the last three or four months....trade the traders.

So is it possible that the traders all swarm to the short side of the HUI as it nears the top of the trading range? Gosh, if they did that and the POG followed the seasonal trend up, what would happen when the HUI started back up? Could there be a short panic that further propelled things upward?

But that would be contrary to advice given here and against the mass of traders headed for the trend exits.

Who are the traders we are trading here? (ggg)
