Crimson > Officials from several Jewish organizations have been holding intense talks with Democratic staffers over the past week to ensure that Israel educational trips will be exempt from the new restrictions.

I like the way they call the trips "educational". Perhaps "non-educational" is a better description because I'm sure they don't take the Congresspeople to Gaza and let them talk freely with the Palestinians. That's where the proper education would be.

Anyway, whatever they call the trips, they are just a waste of money. But if Americans have money to waste, then why shouldn't they be able to waste it if that's what they want to do. Consider how much money the US has wasted in Iraq.
