just do not get it, do you? I don't GET IT. More and more people like me everyday are populating this planet that DON'T GET IT. This is very dangerous for your GOLD meme, for you can only trade shiny metal for the labor of a mans back if he GETS IT. IF he doesn't GET YOUR MEME, you are sunk my friend. It's like Prez Bush waking up day after day NOT GETTING why so many are turning against him and why everyone doesn't understand things as clearly as he does - GETTING IT and getting others to GET IT is so important - and I know how badly you wish for me to GET IT so your hoard has value, but sadly I DONT GET IT and doubt I ever will. When he was first interviewed in 1999, the reporter asked him about his religous beliefs, and he said the people who vote him in GET IT, when asked to elaborate the prez to be said either you GET IT or you DON'T. I didn't get it then, still don't now. Property ownership of land or gold is nothing if you don't have the physical POWER to enforce it. the game ought to be played cash heavy, along with a spot of energy, and some value real estate, imo Hmmm Cash Heavy, in a TEOTWAWKI event where labor and violence comes to the forefront and cash takes a backseat I just don't GET IT. Like pres bush saying I should GET his religious beliefs and I didn't. I once saw this movie - LORD OF THE FLIES - I GOT IT. They threw a rock on piggies head because he kept telling them they did not GET IT. He GOT IT fast and quick when they split his skull. The violence came out, kids reverted to thier primative animal nature, the strong survived and the weak died - what don't YOU get? I doubt if PIGGY had 5 gold coins in his pocket it would have saved his life - but you keep wanting me to believe that sillyness. gold is just another cash, I absolutely agree, if Piggy had cash, even GOLD cash on the LORD of the FLIES island - would his skull not have been split? The TWEOTWAKI that you keep dooming and glooming about I believe will see ALL CASH lose its hold on society, even GOLDEN cash. Those who are violent and strong will thrive, those who are not will fade - gold or no gold. though a superior one, that yields 20+% without fuss, year after year since I got in and kept at it, full stop I got some southeast US real estate, it did very well too - some of it my family bought around 1980 when gold was around 800 an ounce eh? I think the land investment was better than the gold investment. How has the gold investor done that bought in 1980 waiting on 10K per ounce comapred to my land investments? You know while his gold sat in a hole in his backyard while my land grew oranges and cotton and peanuts that people consumed. I have people offering me deals on arizona and nevada real estate, large tracts of land - several hundred acres - and I just keep telling them I can grow stuff in FL, but I don't see how I am supposed to grow stuff in those states, no thanks. My grandpa worked all over north america, he chose florida for a pretty good reason I think. gold also has an embedded and under-valued option on government stupidity, the value of which will show, soon enough, in outrageous way I concede that when the mongrel hoardes came for the romans, that the catholic church was able to give Atilla some shiny metal and keep him from killing them for a very short while, I think it was less than a year, and then he went on killing and raping and pillaging. Pity the Roman that listened to the general chen of his day and hoarded gold only to be killed anyways. energy has been nice, and real estate is most kind, full stop I don't get it - I send you links to great gold mining claims in arizona, you would think with your religious devotion to GOLD that you would be going hawg wild converting assets into personal gold mining claims instead of buying companies where crooked accountants and ceo's skim off your wealth with fake core samples. I guess I just don't get it, some TRUST thier own eyes and backs, some want slaves to do the real work and hard labor for them and count on the slaves to be honest. I don't count on slaves that I am exploiting to be honest with me. I remember BRE-X crooks here on SI, don't you? Psalms 118:8 "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." They GOT IT several thousand years ago.
