Of course he does. Nobody has a bigger ego than John Kerry.
It is very difficult for John to accept how disliked he is...

Kerry would love to be loved more, but doesn't care what the pundits and concentional wisdom types are saying about him.

2008 will see all states become pink. And Kerry is finished politically. Once the party tells him that his campaigning for candidates is a liability, it points to the fact that he had stopped being someone who can draw crowds. After all isn't campaigning all about drawing crowds?
