Michael Medved it a distorter of significant proportions..

Today he opened his talk show... (made me nauseous) by saying that even though President Bush had gone into Iraq for WMD there were other reasons such as the brutality of Saddam in invading other countries...and killing thousands, literally thousands of his own people..

HOW MANY HAS BUSH KILLED.... I think he is scoring ahead of Saddam at this point between our men and Iraqi's... Oh, that 's collateral damage of his invasion.. Give me a break.

Pincus Tweaks 'Post' on War Resolution -- How Did Others Respond ?

I'm really pretty curious how many people really believed at the time that Bush was actually going to carry out the invasion in the first place.

All the while the military build up was going on, I simply never believed we'd actually invade, and I have to wonder if most people had that doubt in the backs of their minds.

I don't think it had yet dawned on the public the degree to which Bush and his handlers were in the process of milking 9/11 for all it was worth. The country was certainly drunk on hegemony at the time, despite the 9/11 attack.

On the other hand, there are still an incredible number of fools like Hilary who still think they made the right choice at the time. Probably the majority I guess.
