My folks owned lake front property on Shadow Mountain Lake for many years. They wanted to sell it (cheap) to my brother and me when the altitude got too much for them. My brother was about to move to Florida and my wife didn't want it. She believed if we owned it we would never go anyplace else on vacation. That may have been right, my folks never went anywhere once they built the house there. Still, it would be nice to have it today. Mere money can't touch any of that land anymore.
