ABC (I think it was) did a piece this weekend about an Iraqi man who spit on Saddam's photo and thanked American troops for 'freedom' all those years ago. Now that same Iraqi wants SADDAM BACK or another strongman like Saddam.

Too bad that there can't be another purple-fingered election in Iraq that would have two candidates running:

Bush
Saddam

What would happen if Saddam were set free and given back his Republican Guards and Baathists and guns and money? Would he be able to bring order to Iraq?

I think, after tremendous bloodshed, he would. It would be ugly and brutal but it already is ugly and brutal. I think it then begs the question, why can't the US military bring order to Iraq?

What are they doing wrong? What are they missing? Why can't they ask Saddam who is, after all, the only one in a generation who brought order (nasty though it was) to this country?

This is a question that the corporate media never seems to ask. What is the military problem in Iraq? They just slough it off saying it's a political problem and not a military one but that's not correct either.

Remember, this is a guy who beat out the Dem's candidate twice...and convinced them to vote for his war.

Are you saying the other side is even more stupid and incompetent?

If not...how did this happen? ;-)
