Thank you for asking. I am doing very well and have had everything tested this year and great reports on all.

My husband is making a speech in New Orleans on Friday, so we are flying over Thursday afternoon and will stay until Saturday afternoon. I am going along to gamble, not hear the speech <g>. The hotel we wanted is booked, so will probably stay at Harrah's, as I do get rooms and meals comped there. Haven't been to NO since the year before the hurricane hit and doubt we will be leaving the hotel for anything other than one meal. Just hope to have a lucky trip and then get back to finish up my Xmas shopping. My husband always teases me about putting us into bankruptcy, but I haven't yet and keep telling him we can't take it with us and the children are already provided for, so just let me have a good time playing the games of chance. There will be some other Houstonians going along that we know, so it should be a fun trip.

Read about your move and hope all gets accomplished soon. That has to be so nerve wracking when things are not in move in condition at the time. If I had to deal with that kind of thing now, my new address might be the city jail for assault and battery. Living among boxes is still deeply rooted in my mind from years ago and it wasn't the least bit pleasant at the time, but it is better than being taken out feet first....so my husband kept telling me, but he didn't have to contend with it during the day and since he is not a complainer he thought living among boxes was okay to accomplish the end result. We survived it but fun was not any part of it and he didn't do any of the unpacking....just paid the bills. Lucky me!
