Corporate media sucks. That's what it means. They're still at it although they've put their fingers in the air and have sensed the shift of public opinion so they're leaning away from the Dubyette.

It means that the corporate media is more PR than journalism and it means that there may be less than 10 (optimistically speaking) true investigative journalists in the national media. The rest are just hair-sprayed, made-up talkingheads.

It's sad to see Dan Rather replaced with the cooing, sighing, highly opinionated and rather depressing Couric. Such is the state of affairs in what used to be journalism.
