That's is a bald-faced lie if that's what you're saying. The Vietnam War didn't escalate until JFK was murdered. Also, coincidentally, the last man controlling White House policy before Cheney who had ultra close ties to Halliburton (Brown + Root) the #1 war profiteer in the country, was LBJ. Cheney and LBJ. Those two. Plus Bectel and Nixon and Reagan. All these people are in the busines of creating excuseds for needless wars to fuel the asrms industry. Neither Vietnam nor Iraq ever posed a meaningful threat to this country. Kerry is a frixcking hero for stanhjding up against Nixon and the Vietnam War., You ought to respect the hell out of him. He put his life on the line twice, on the battlefields, and up against Nixon. If you think Nixon was someone you screwed with talk to G. Gordon Liddy or Hunt or Colson or the rightwing Cubans. They would have loved to have killed Kerry. Ruining him was the Plan B and they tried. But they investigated him for two years including 24/7 FBI surveillance and could never find a single thing Kerry had ever done wrong. In fact the FBI concluded he was a moderate in the anti-war movement who worked within the system and played by the rules. That's admirable. I am sick and tired of smearvet garbage being thrown around as if it were fact. It is not. It is all lies. And Vietnam was the biggest crime this country every committed, knowingly or not. Do you know about 2,000,000 people were killed? Inclouding 55,000 Americans? And for what? for nothing. No reason whatsoever. And don't try to blame it on the Kennedys. JFK likely would have ended the Vietnam situation. He was not in league with the war profiteers. Which is probably one reason he was killed.
