I meant that those who post positively about a stock likely have a position in the stock.

I agree that this is not always the case but it is generally true.

I also agree that someone can be objective if one does not own a stock but one never knows for sure. One could be waiting for the stock to drop and have a bias, opining in a fashion that would seek readers NOT to buy or to sell.

Furthermore, as I point out, the "myth of no paid bashers," seems to be dying a very timely death, given the disclosures of the Elgindy trial and elsewhere.

It is absurd to claim that only positive posters have a bias and that negative posters are all here as "good samaritans."
