Michael Richards words......the insensitive boob.........didn't hurt anything but some feelings. I used to think differently, and was offended by stereotyping, but I now realize in the greater scheme of things, labels are insignificant and usually used to group or identify.....wrongly or rightly, hurtfully or not....... and are really innocuous compared to the physical reactions they some times provoke. Mature individuals brush them off and go on with their lives. This is the lesson, for instance, that Blacks have taught us all. Although there was some obvious emotional repercussions, no one was physically hurt over Michael Richards words, although he might want to watch his back.
