Idiot! The majority of the people were for the war in March 2003 - *even* in the SF Bay Area, let alone the rest of the country.

As for people with "real information" coming up with "real plans", that is hogwash. Most of these bipartisan panel recommendations are watered down consensus stuff that is essentially a whole load of horse-dung.

The only meaningful solution is "GTFO". It was the answer 2 years ago, it is the answer now, it will be the answer 5 years from now. (Of course, it was wrong and illegal and immoral to invade Iraq in the first place).

That doesn't mean it won't have consequences. Of course it will. We illegally invaded a defenseless country that had not attacked us. We cannot now demand that there be no consequences!

do not believe everything will be "all better" if we just pull out tomorrow.

They won't be "all better" if we wait until next week, next year, or next president either. Junior has pushed the country into civil war and it won't get better until the situation resolves itself on the ground. It's going to be messy whether the Americans stand in the middle or not.
