Yeah, it won't matter if China overtakes America in CO2 emissions, because Americans will still produce more per person.

I still advocate conservation of oil, if only to stick it to the Middle East. I just think it's foolish to try and appease those who will always view America as "too rich."

You know that how? Environmental degradation is one of the more important issues for liberals. Its more likely the right will continue to let China get away with it as Bush has done for the past 6 years.
