The cache was not reduced, it remained the same.

I think the shrink factor is consistent with the delays and lack of performance gain.

Again, this is all premised on the Inq being correct about the new 65nm die size being ~125mm^2 (down from 183mm^2 for 90nm)

One would've expected something like 105mm^2 with a good shrink factor of ~.58
