..getting all angry and blaming everyone except himself

Yes indeed, we would not want a President who displays that quality. One who not only wants to take responsibility for his actions but also declare "Mission Accomplished" without saying what the mission actually is.

The American people in 2008 will take a very hard look at their choice for President coming on the heels of their experience.

Kerry has a perfect right to get angry at the Bush propaganda machine, as we all do. That machine, run by Rove, has been lying, misleading, smearing and promoting corruption since day one. It stole the 2000 election for sure and probably stole it in 2004 again. It smeared war heros Kerry, McCain. Cleland, Murtha and a lot more. It covered up crimes, corruption and gross errors.

You have no right to criticize Kerry for a botched joke or anything else. You are not fit to lick his combat boots.

The real crime with the botched joke affair was the fact that the entire White House and GOP propaganda machine dropped all serious issues and focused for 48 hours on a cheap shot at Kerry demanding he apologize for a gaffe. Meanwhile, Bush is the single worst gaffer in US presidential history, and some of his gaffes have gotten US troops killed, especially "bring it on!" his challenge to terrorists to come into Iraq and try to kill Americans. That worked great, for the terrorists.

Let's all remember the smearvet campaign against Kerry.
That was the grossest dirty trick campaign we have ever seen in US political history. There was almost nothing they said which was in any way true. To believe those bozos, one would have to re-invent history and turn the Vietnam War into some kind of noble patriotic defense of the US homeland. It was just the opposite. And Kerry was right about it.

Despite Kerry's righteous opposition to the war after he came home from combat, he was a stellar war hero in combat. Every medal he got was well-deserved, and the rightwing really has a nerve claiming any different. Talk about insulting our troops. The rightwing would have us question every medal ever given to any war hero. They would have us call the US Navy liars and frauds. They would also have us believe that killing enemy in war is murder. Meanwhile, not a single major rightwing leader has ever served in combat. So who are they to smear our war heros?

And if you're a Republican, also remember Bush-Rove similar but smaller smear campaign against McCain in 2000. They called him a coward, traitor, sicko, black whore monger and insane, everything but homosexual. Just like with Kerry, none of it was true. Not a single iota. But they said it anyway.
