re: ENER.OL

Aero,
absolutely correct. When I discovered the company and the underlying metrics, I almost couldn't believe my eyes. It's being traded thinly and it's current listing status on a "secondary market" in Norway (Oslo OTC) might explain parts of the valuation. However the spread is what I call "reasonable" .. it's 160 NOK x 163 NOK, that's around $20 per share. The other part is lack of information. But that can be changed .. and I see management is now more willing to tell its story to the broad investing public

The most encouraging subject at ENER ASA is IMHO the forward looking statements in the last press release where they mentioned the finalization (government approval) of both aspects of the Jotun transaction .. the transaction itself and the takeover of all the tax-relaed writeoffs .. The same release mentioned that they intend to close 2 FURTHER deals in the upcoming year. Actually the company should be quickly able to leverage its increased reserves into an enlarged borrowing base, aptly usable for producing fields with appraisal and exploration upside (see ROC Oil's strategy in China in this regard)

stay tuned !
