I gather from your answer that it is possible for a company such as AMD to have world-class yield in their 90 nm mature process, and crappy yield (accounting for bins) in their brand-new not-yet-mature 65 nm process. Especially if their APM has not been trained on the new process yet.

Well, maybe misen will shed some light.

I'm sure the saga continues. We'll keep a lookout to see if any AMD 65 nm parts show up in systems this year.
