What happens then if we never have to really pay back the piper with no serious recession or major backup in long term rates? and credit expansion continues along and we all live happily ever after even though no one can afford to buy a home and jobs are still being lost only replaced by jobs at walmart (oh - wait a second didn't walmart cut buck on planned stores and HD cut back on planned hiring). The economy is toast, period. When the stock market begins to worry about it is another matter. Mish
