Yeah, I recall the rallying cry well - 'long and strong Intel and Dell'. I once posted a l o n g laundry list of Oldie's calls, suffice it to say it was not a pretty picture.. Regards, John

I was indeed long INTC in 2003,and booked precisely a gain of $1,016,563.This information is posted in my brokers notebook software,provided by RJF,my clearing firm.The gain was mostly from INTC.RE:DELL---I have to the best of my knowledge owned DEll only once or twice and then only for a quick trades since Sept of 2000 when I exited the very dregs of my large position.Telling this thread DELL was going to 70,if I did was dead wrong! -"I never believed it would become such a dog!"--My personal average exit price on my 1,050,000 share 1999 block was was $33.375--PS:New subject--(on or around and on this thread Oct-the 7th 0f 2002 to be precise I did accurately call the exact bottom and consequently received a a write up for the call in Real Money.PPS:I recently booked $913,639 in realized gains in CAL and AMR,I bet the farm on oil tanking and the airlines soaring!I am now in cash!--wbm
