I find actions like Judge Moore's sneaking in the Ten Commandments during the night to be unacceptable.

No argument from me on that one. Inserting religious dogma into a court of law is incompatible with the tenets of a free society.

That stupid flag burning amendment that the pandering pols keep dragging out in an attempt to garner a few votes really gets my goat as well. A non issue in search of a non solution. Almost makes me want to publicly burn a flag just to demonstrate that it's what the flag stands for that allows me to burn it. A powerful affirmation of American freedom.

but I love the CHristmas music

So do I, and traditional Christmas in general.

MIlitant anything-ists are a problem.

Hmmm, any militant "ists" that wish to forcefully impose their POV, whether coming from either theological or statist ideologies, are definitely a problem. Of course, since I consider myself somewhat of a militant libertarian "ist" and "forceful" advocate of freedom, I'd have to exempt myself from the above perceived "problem" category.. :-)

Would love to come hear your concert... Question...How do you pick the music for the concerts with so many people as touchy as they are these days?

The Irish Tenors seem to manage pretty well and so do the 3 Tenors...

The early American colonies didn't celebrate Christmas until the 1840's....but the Southern Colonies, especially near Williamsburg did....There are so many countries that celebrated Winter Solstice, and later both secular and religious music....

Are there any schools that have concerts of the Winter Holidays choral music, including Christmas?
