Not especially. I'm sensitive about people misquoting other people.

He knocked down a lot of sand castles in the sky. ;-)

Not for me. It was mostly consistent with what I've already read though since he has no recommendations for conservatives you can be certain that he did some cherry picking.

It's pretty commonly known that poor people are more generous than rich people. It's lesser known that black people are more inclined to be givers than white people. So it's not surprising that the poor blacks in the south dominate the generousity scale who also happen to be most likely Baptist.

Single women are more generous than single men.

So it's more likely that a poor single black woman in the south is more generous than let's say...Rush Limbaugh.

I recall that the two most generous cities in the US are Salt Lake City [might have something to do with tithing to the LDS?] and Detroit.

There are a ton of studies on philanthropy. It's a real business.
