I thought that Kerry was a good orator. But he has a strange way with words and this is his main shortcoming. Saying "I voted for it before I voted against it." And then he takes the floor at the convention and begins his address like he is off to a war saying things such as "...reporting for duty" etc. AS, I know that you are a real die-hard fan of Kerry. Needless to say that I was too. But sorry AS. I think that as Democrats, now it is time for us to look at something new. The American people already rejected Kerry and I just cannot stand the thought that he lost to a person like W of all people. However. always feel free to come to this thread and push Kerry's case if you would like to. After all this is a Obama thread and he has to win over all to become President. THis also includes winning past Kerry who indeed does continue have his own merits since he is a true patriot. That cannot be taken away by Bush or Rove who I am sure do not know how to tie the laces of battle boots.
