Your narration of how and why they(Muslims) came to Europe and their present situation sounds to me like you have it right on. Are they using Islam as a platform to voice their disenchantment.....I don't know about that... but I suspect so...it seems Social ills are never caused by the downtrodden, the unemployed, the disenchanted but rather by a phobic thinking of some group or other of the functioning society, its easier to digest that way. It is a real problem for Europe and is growing because Europe's Leaders and Thinkers are not willing to address their common problems, IMO. regards

I agree with much of what you say, but, the reverse is also true, Muslims want access to whatever rights everyone else has, but they fail consistently to take those rights and apply them to anyone else. They demand respect for Islam but they completely fail to offer respect for the way other people live. Rather like the Catholics when they came to mexico.
