Lorne, Carter was a Bible toting Idealist dreamer, I agree..... However Ronald Reagan didn't do us any favors either when he pulled us out of Lebanon after the bombing of the Marine barracks in 1983....that sent a very strong message to the Hezbollah pricks........ IMO, it all has to do with a general overlying mindset of the American Politic...... The entire Free World tends to be Reactionary.... The radical Islamic world has become Pro-Active, Pre-Emptive. The Free Worlds response to this Cancer is very lame indeed, many will pay for this lack of will to pursue the Islamic crazies. regards
