Most of the Dems didn't oppose the war until very recently... when it was already clear it was an abject failure. And yes, Nation Building, especially in the Arab world, is a "tough undertaking", not a "cakewalk" as the neo's claimed. How, exactly, would you have had the Dems help... beyond what they did. As for sounding ignorant... blaming Bush's war failure on the Dems is about as ignorant as you can get.
