Interesting thought... I'm eyeing the USD bonds with a sceptical eye. The curve implies some soft landing ahead but then I can hardly figure out what the treasury buyers have in their heads with the dollar so weak and no remorse on the expense side. Though, the last time I shorted treasuries was in the katrina days when the visited 119 the very last time. Since then practically nothing of the subsequent rate hikes transpired into the long end.
