Fair enough. I respect your ideas, but my opinion is that gold is going to flounder around a bit longer. When the dollar gets to these levels, interesting things happen. And it is all about the dollar right now. POG is just reacting.

The big move is still months away, but it will come. Ben might be a more crafty devil than we think, but he can't have cuts and dollar strength. And I think Ben is a weak man who will do exactly what Alan would do, and that is cut. The dollar will pay, and POG will benefit.

The bond market has perplexed me for years now. I never comment on it, for it makes no sense to me. Of course my position is predicated on assumptions of much higher than official inflation and fundamental valuation concerns with the dollar.
