As of Q3, Intel was still losing share.

Q3 was pretty much flat overall to within margin of error, with Intel gains in server (and desktop?), losses in mobile, IIRC.

True, Intel ran face-first into the wall of heat and power with Prescott. So what does AMD do? The exact same thing with 4x4, er, QuadFather, er, Quad FX.

Then why did AMD lose money during the "Bush recession" while Intel continued to make money?
