Scott, The Giants' farm system is pretty thin. On the other hand, all things considered, I'd take Bonds at this price for one year when he'll cause the stadium to continue to sell out over Gary Matthews Jr. for 5 years, $50 million (an absolute joke), Juan Pierre for 5 years, $55 million (another joke), Adam Eaton Gil Meche for ridiculous deals, or assorted other over-paid, never-weres that have caused baseball to lose its collective mind. Sabean resign? I guess the writer wants to make a name for himself. I've never heard of him before today. jpg
